Joem Bascon happy to have the chance to work again with Piolo Pascual
Kapamilya actor Joem Bascon revealed something about his friendship with the Ultimate Leading Man Piolo Pascual as they have the chance to work again in the series Flower of Evil.
Joem has spent almost two decades of his life in the entertainment industry and he already did several acting projects that proved his versatility. He can play an antagonist role and can do well the protagonist role also.
This year, he did another project with Piolo and during a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Joem said that he is happy to have this chance again. He said that he was starting in showbiz, Piolo was among the first celebrities who became his friend and they were able to maintain that friendship between each other over the years.
“17 years, and I am happy kasi isa si Piolo doon sa mga unang nakatrabaho ko noong nag-start ako so, getting here na makatrabaho ko siya, maging barkada, maging kaibigan, masayang-masaya ako, kasi alam mo ‘yon at the end of the day, kahit anong gawin namin sa set, ganito pa rin kami, makukulit pa rin kami,” Joem Bascon revealed.
The actor also thanked his home network ABS-CBN for still trusting him with good projects. Joem said that he is not choosy when it comes to projects being offered to him. He said that he will surely grab the opportunity knowing that the role that was given to him will challenge him and he loves working with his co-stars.
“Sa akin kasi noong nag-start ako, after kong gumawa ng pelikula, gusto kong maging actor and I wanted to do different roles, I wanted to learn different characters, different personalities, ganu’n nga e ‘yung trabaho namin,” he shared.
Joem Bascon added that he wants not to be associated with just one specific character and it is not because he wants to be away with the perception that he is the look alike of Piolo Pascual but because he really loves acting.
