Willie Revillame said that AMBS has no approved official station ID yet
Veteran television host Willie Revillame slammed the AMBS Station ID that has circulated on social media.
The Advanced Media Broadcasting System of business tycoon Manny Villar has already started the test broadcast last June 26. ABMS is now occupying Channel 2 which was previously occupied by ABS-CBN.
About the same time as the test broadcast started, a 30-second video claiming to be the station ID of Villar’s TV network circulated online. It even featured the tagline: “Kasama ng bawat Pilipino.”
In a recent article in PEP, Willie Revillame debunked the said “station ID.” He said that the management of AMBS has not approved any station ID yet and the media company did not give permission for this.
“May ginawang station ID na may voice-over without the knowledge, without the permission of the Villars at ng AMBS. Hindi totoo yun. Hindi yun ang original,” the veteran host said.
He also clarified that the said “station ID” was just made by someone who was not permitted by AMBS and uploaded it on Facebook. “May original na ginawa, ilalabas yun sa test broadcast ng Channel 2, sa analog at sa digital. Yung lumabas sa social media was not original. It was not permitted by AMBS management,” the TV host added.
Kuya Wil stressed that there was no approved logo yet and if there is already one that has permission, the moving logo will be aired during test broadcast. “Kung may mga tanong tungkol sa AMBS, ang management mismo ang dapat na tanungin para maiwasan ang disinformation. Abangan na lang ang magiging original logo ng AMBS,” Willie Revillame added.
He said that all the programs that will be aired on Villar’s TV network will be announced. Kuya Wil also shared that his Will TV app will be launched prior to the launching of AMBS.
