Cristine Reyes talked about her Imee Marcos role
Actress Cristine Reyes shared what happened during the first time she met Senator Imee Marcos, as she will portray the role of the lawmaker in the movie Maid In Malacanang.
The said movie intends to tell the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in the Palace before they were forced to leave. This is written and directed by Vincentiments’s Darryl Yap who is also the mind behind the viral satire videos during the election season.
Also included in the cast members are Ruffa Gutierrez, Cesar Montano, Diego Loyzaga, Ella Cruz, Elizabeth Oropesa, Beverly Salviejo, and Karla Estrada. This movie project is under Viva Films.
During a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Cristine Reyes admitted that she felt pressured when the role of Imee Marcos was given to her. She shared that this is the reason why she kept on telling her handler to give her the script as soon as possible.
When she met the older sister of incoming President Bongbong Marcos, Cristine said that she really did an observation in order to portray her character realistically.
She also said that this role is very challenging for her. The pressure that she feels is somehow understandable because her role will serve as the storyteller as she is the eldest child of former President Ferdinand Marcos and former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
