Sorsogon Water District Retired Employee Shot By 2 Still Unidentified Suspects
RETIRED EMPLOYEE – A former employee of the Sorsogon Water District who is also a businessman was shot while he was walking on his way home.
Several tragic incidents are taking place in different areas daily. There are some incidents that are considered accidents – no one wanted them to happen, they are inevitable, and they took place as unforeseen happenings.
On the other side, there are also incidents that seem to have been planned by some people in the pursuit to cause harm to another person for a purpose. Most of these incidents left people injured or dead and families of the victims calling for justice.
Recently, in Sorsogon, another incident that was seemingly planned took place. A retired employee of the Sorsogon Water District was shot while he was walking on his way home.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the victim was identified as Orlando Rizalte Gacias. The 58-year-old former employee of the Sorsogon Water District is also a businessman. He is living in Barangay Cabid-an.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Virgil Bibat, the chief of Sorsogon City Police Station, the retired employee of Sorsogon Water District was walking on his way home when two (2) men came near him and shot him. The victim died on the spot.
Currently, the police authorities are conducting a follow-up operation to identify the suspects and the motive behind the incident. More updates may be posted soon.
A few days ago, a tricycle driver who is also a barangay kagawad in Sorsogon was shot by four still unidentified suspects. He was driving his vehicle to Sorsogon with his wife when the incident happened. His wife was seated inside the sidecar and survived the incident but the barangay kagawad died.
