Mother of Slain Maguad Siblings Share Some Confessions of Accused

MAGUAD SIBLINGS – The mother of the slain Maguad siblings shared some of the confessions of the accused.

The Maguad siblings murder was one of the crimes that rocked the country last year. The brutal fate of Crizville Louise and Crizzel Gwynn took place in the town of M’lang, North Cotabato province.

The siblings were found with stab wounds, bruises, and traces of strangulation. The authorities said the two received about 30 stab wounds.

The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Kabacan filed murder charges against adopted “Janice” and a sacristan, who were also minors. Janice was allegedly envious of the siblings while the sacristan had been in and out of DSWD.

The scene was intense during the sentencing of the two minors. The parents of the Maguad siblings, Cruz and Lovella Maguad, confronted the parent of the altar boy. Days after that. Mr. Maguad asked Senator Raffy Tulfo for help after the court reduced the sentence of the accused.

The couple hoped for maximum justice but due to Senator Kiko Pangilinan’s Juvenile Law, no heavier sentence was imposed. The court sentenced the two to 17 years in each murder case count. A total of 34 years will be required for each.

The mother of the victims recently shared some of the confessions of the two suspects. In the pictures she shared on Facebook, you can see the part of Janice’s statement.

Her daughter said that it was only a dream because she was going to be a doctor. Another part of the confession was when the sacristan said Janice’s plan was a failure because he realized that the Maguad siblings were kind people.

Gwynn was the one who persuaded her parents to let Janice live in their house. Mrs. Maguad said her daughter took care of Janice and treated her as a real sister. Their family also gave her an assurance that they would support her studies until college.
