Crizelle will be remembered for being murdered on December 10, 2021, in their home. Crizelle’s cellphone, which may have provided information about their family’s tragedy, was one of the objects that could not be viewed at the time.

Crizelle’s cellphone was stolen from the drug suspect, according to the victims’ parents. However, the authorities encountered difficulty because the cellphone had gotten wet and was unable to be opened.

Authorities confiscated the phone after a search warrant was issued for alias ‘Esmael,’ a narcotics suspect. The drug suspect’s parent exited and stated that because Esmael was just 17 years old, he should be placed in the custody of the DSWD, as was the case with the main suspect in the murder of the Maguad siblings, ‘Janice.’

Even though ‘Janice,’ who was adopted by the Maguad family, admitted that she allegedly committed the murder, the authorities are still seeking for certain suspects. Due to additional findings by the authorities, the Maguads’ case cannot be deemed concluded at this time.
