Richard Gomez was able to see what’s inside his wife old bedroom
Actor-politician Richard Gomez made revelations about the old room of his wife actress-politician Lucy Torres.
Richard and Lucy are among the beautiful couples in showbiz. It is known to many that their love story is worth being celebrated. From being stars of a commercial, love bloomed between them.
Even before they met, Lucy has been an avid fan of Richard and the actor was able to prove this through his wife’s old bedroom.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, during a recent episode of Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, Richard confirmed the “urban legend” that Lucy Torres has cut-out pictures of him in her old bedroom.
The Congressman-elect revealed that this is true. Then, he shared the story about this. Back in 1991, Lucy’s house in Ormoc was destroyed by a typhoon.
“Binaha ‘yong bahay nila so they decided to move do’n sa subdivision dito sa Ormoc City na ginawa ng lolo niya. And then ‘yong bahay na ‘yon, minaintain pa rin nila. Pero alam mo ‘yong inabandon nila, hindi talaga pininturahan, iniwan lang siya,” he shared.
Then, one day, they had the chance to pass by that old house of Lucy and she invited her husband to see what’s inside.
When they were about to enter her old bedroom, Lucy got shy. “Alam mo ‘yong napahinto siya na gano’n. ‘This is my room,’ tapos nakagano’n siya. And then na-realize niya siguro na ‘hindi ko pa natatanggal ‘yong mga cutouts na pinaste ko sa cabinet,” Richard related.
The actor-politician asked what was happening and when his wife open the cabinet, she laughed hard. Richard said that he saw his GMA pictures from different movies and TV shows posted on Lucy’s cabinet.
He also shared that his wife really prayed for him. “Sabi niya, ‘Lord kung mag-aasawa ko, give me a good husband. Yon ang number 1, give me a good husband. Pero kung pwede bigyan mo ko ng kamukha ni Richard Gomez. Tapos kung talagang papalarin Lord, si Richard Gomez na talaga ‘yong ibigay mo sakin.’ Talagang ipinagdasal niya,” the actor-politician shared.
