The cases will still go on but Ana Jalandoni has already forgiven her ex-boyfriend.
ANA JALANDONI – Actress Ana Jalandoni expressed that she has already found in herself to forgive Kit Thompson but the cases will still continue.
Last March, the people online were taken in great surprise after seeing the battered photos of Ana Jalandoni which eventually went viral. What has made it even more controversial is that actor Kit Thompson was the one who did it to his ex-girlfriend.
In a previous article, Jalandoni shares that she can still forgive her ex-boyfriend but his stance about the legal cases against him won’t be changed. Thompson violated Section 5 (a) of the Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act.
She believes she doesn’t deserve all of those that had happened to her because all she just did was love him and understand him. But what happened in that hotel in Tagaytay was too much.
And now several months after the issue erupted online, Jalandoni shared that she has now forgiven Kit. She forgives him because it’s a part of her moving on and healing process. She added that holding grudge against someone will do nothing in her life.
“Wala naman po akong galit. Ni-let go, and let God ko na po ‘yun. Gusto ko na rin po mag-start para sa sarili ko. Hindi rin po makakatulong sa ‘kin kung may galit ako sa puso ko. Alam ko po may mapupuntahan na maayos ang lahat,” she said.
Of course, it was hard, at first, for her, but chose to do it anyway to start anew in her life. Forgiving, she learned, is the right way to do it as she restarts her life.
For now, her focus would be on her work and she’s leaving all the cases to her legal team.
