Ana Jalandoni Suffers From Temporary Loss Of Eyesight, To Sue Actor

Finally discharged from the hospital is Ana Jalandoni who is firm to file a case against her boyfriend.

ANA JALANDONI – Controversial actress Ana Jalandoni is now out from the hospital and is determined to sue her boyfriend Kit Thompson.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed on Tuesday that actor Kit Thompson has been released from jail after posting bail. He was arrested last March 18 for allegedly hurting his girlfriend Ana Jalandoni. He went straight to the authorities for questioning while Ana was brought directly to the hospital for treatment.

The following day after his arrest, PNP filed a complaint against Thompson for violating Section 5 (a) of the Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act. After the reports about what happened to them emerged online, they shortly followed it unfollowing each other on social media and deleting all their photos together in their respective account.

According to the lawyer of the victim, she is determined to sue Thompson for the unfortunate incident that made her sustain injuries, especially in her face. Atty. Faye Singson said, “The savage and barbaric acts of the Respondent should not be condoned.”

The lawyer added that the mauling has severed the eye of the victim causing temporary loss of her eyesight. She also sustained multiple contusions, a serious physical trauma. In a text message that she sent to PEP based on the article, she said:

“Kakalabas ko lang ng hospital. Sa ngayon, di ko pa iniisip yung sa management namin ni Kit sa Cornerstone. But I do appreciate their concern… Mas priority ko muna ang aking recovery. Kailangan ko makabawi ng lakas.”

On Sunday, she received a bouquet of flowers from Cornerstone Management along with a letter expressing their prayers for her and for her fast recovery.
