Husband Files Divorce for Wife After Serving Him Instant Noodles for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

A frustrated husband has decided to divorce his wife for feeding him instant noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Presiding judge ML Raghunath said that a man in India has filed for divorce from his wife for serving him Maggi instant noodles three times a day. The latter got fed up because his wife don’t know how to cook any other food except for instant noodles.

The Indian man revealed that his wife usually buys a lot of instant noodles every time she’d go grocery shopping. Raghunath even dubbed the incident the “Maggi case” and the couple divorced on mutual consent.

“The husband said his wife did not know how to prepare any food other than Maggi noodles. It was noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He complained that his wife went to the provision store and brought only instant noodles.” Ragunath said.

Ragunath who is a Principal district and sessions court judge reported that the cases of divorce in Indi continue to increase over the past few years. He also stated that couples have to stay together for at least a year before seeking a divorce,

“Divorce cases are increasing drastically over the years. Couples have to stay together for at least a year before seeking a divorce, If there was no such law, there would be divorce petitions filed directly from the wedding halls,” Ragunath added.
