Moira Dela Torre Past Interview About Forgiveness Resurfaces

Here’s the touching and amusing stand of Moira Dela Torre about forgiving someone and letting someone go.

MOIRA DELA TORRE – Married couple Moira Dela Torre and Jason Marvin announce a split and an interview suddenly resurfaces.

If there’s something people learned about the split of Moira and her husband Jason Marvin, it would be marriage is never a guarantee after all. Jason admitted he cheated and this convinced people that indeed, infidelity is a choice. Despite the Christ-centeredness of a relationship, once someone cheats, the relationship will eventually fall apart.

And last 2021, the interview with Moira where she spoke about ending of relationship and forgiveness emerges again online. This is because her words were very timely and appropriate to her current situation, specifically the current situation of her marriage.

The interview was released amid the success of her hit song “Paubaya”, the song that she and her husband wrote. Among her iconic lines was: “A lot of us feel that love is staying together, but sometimes love is setting people free.”

In the interview, Moi stressed that having been separated from someone you thought was the one is never a failure. One can always look at it with a grateful mindset and perspective that you had the chance of knowing that person. You had the privilege to love and learn from that person and these were some things one can be grateful for.

“We can choose gratitude over bitterness. We can choose joy over pa rin. We can choose freedom over guilt. We can choose love. We can choose forgiveness. And just because you’re not going to continue that in the seasons to come, doesn’t mean it was a failed one. ‘From here on, I will choose to remember the good times, because you are still worth that,’” she explained.

In a recent announcement, it was just months ago that Jason admitted to Moira that he was unfaithful in their marriage. He chose the difficult but honest path rather than taking the dishonest one because he believes Moira, his wife, deserves it. Moira reposted his post and up to this writing, the Hugot singer remained mum about their separation three years after tying the knot.
