Loisa Andalio almost gave up her acting career
Kapamilya actress Loisa Andalio admitted that she almost quit showbiz because of this particular feeling that she felt.
Loisa started her career in the entertainment industry after she joined the fifth regular season of Pinoy Big Brother, the Kapamilya reality show that has become a stepping stone for many celebrities in their showbiz career.
From that reality show stint, Loisa was given various projects on TV and in movies. However, there was a point when she almost decided to quit. Based on the article in Bandera, amid the pandemic, the young actress said that she was on the verge of giving up.
“Actually noong pandemic, pasuko na ako, ayoko nang mag-artista ‘yung ganu’n. Kasi, parang nawala na ako ng hope, na parang feeling ko wala nang nagmamahal sa akin, ‘yung ganun noong pandemic, ganu’n,” Loisa Andalio shared.
However, she felt happy and blessed when the Love in 40 Days project was given to her and her real-life boyfriend Ronnie Alonte. “Doon ko na feel na mahal ko pala talaga ‘tong ginagawa ko dahil na rin sa tulong ng mga seasoned actors na kasama namin and directors. Sobrang thankful ko rin kasi hindi nila ako pinabayaan,” Loisa said.
Previously, the actress has already mentioned that it was difficult for her to have no work when she is the breadwinner of their family. She shared that amid the pandemic and the shutting down of her home network, she had no source of income.
Loisa Andalio said that she needed to provide for her family. “May pinag-aaaral ako college and high school ganyan. Hindi ko kayang ipakita sa kanila na wala nang work, wala ng ganyan, so talagang parang ako ‘yung tatay at nanay ng pamilya and hindi ko kailangan ipakita sa kanila na parang nahihirapan ako, parang wala na,” she said.
Despite being in this situation, the actress said that her family gives her the strength to continue and persevere.
