BBM CABINET MEMBERS – These are candidates on the list of prospective members of the Cabinet of President “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. wins the May 9 polls and was already proclaimed. He and his running mate Sara Duterte who ran for vice president were victorious beating their rivals in large vote difference. And he has already named several appointees to be a part of his Cabinet.

  • Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio (Education)
  • Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos (Interior and Local Government)
  • Victor “Vic” Rodriguez (Executive Secretary)
  • Susan Ople (Migrant Workers)
  • Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla (Justice)
  • Bienvenido Laguesma (Labor and Employment)
  • Arsenio Balisacan (National Economic and Development Authority)
  • Benjamin Diokno (Finance)
  • Felipe Medalla (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas)
  • Alfred Pascual (Trade and Industry)
  • Manny Bonoan (Public Works and Highways)
  • Anton Lagdameo (Special Assistant to the President) and Cruz-Angeles

Meanwhile, the other five who are newly named are:

  • former congresswoman Maria Zenaida Angping as head of the Presidential Management Staff
  • Mayor Christina Frasco as Department of Tourism secretary
  • Amenah Pangandaman as head of the Department of Budget and Management
  • Ivan John Enrile Uy as Department of Information Communications and Technology secretary
  • broadcaster Erwin Tulfo as Department of Social Welfare and Development secretary according to a report from Inquirer

PBBM is still thinking thoroughly as to who to put for the positions of heads of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). He sees these positions are essential because the taxes and other dues would have to be collected properly so the country will have funds to spend.

He assured the people that there will be no corruption in his administration.
