Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza received this reaction from the officiating priest of her sister’s wedding.
Maine’s sister got married just recently and her boyfriend actor-politician Arjo Atayde attended the event as well. The celebrity couple shared glimpses of the said ceremony on their social media accounts.
Based on the article in The Latest Chika, even the officiating priest has his own story about the wedding. Rev. Fr. Joseph Fidel Roura shared through his Facebook post that he has already officiated several weddings but this one in particular was different.
It is because he got distracted. “Napakarami ko nang ikinasal pero ngayon lang ako nadistract sa maid of honor. Iba din kasi talaga ang appeal ni Maine Mendoza,” the priest said.
He also shared his “swabe” move in order to get a closer look at the Kapuso star. “‘Yong pwede namang ‘di na tawagin ang best man at maid of honor dahil nasa harap ko na ‘yong arrhae and rings pero tinawag ko pa rin haha. Para-paraan lang ‘yan,” he said.
The beautiful photos of Maine and Arjo caught the attention of the online community and their fans expressed their hopeful wishes that someday they would see the couple getting married as well.
It would be recalled that Arjo’s mom seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez sounded like she has “parinig” to her son and his girlfriend. Sylvia noted that his youngest son is getting older and that she wants a new baby in the family.
Meanwhile, amid the election season, although Maine is very supportive of the political journey of her boyfriend, she was not so active in doing campaign activities. It is because Arjo said that as much as possible, he does not want her girlfriend to get involved in the political arena.
