Is it true that Matteo Guidicelli wanted to do a collaboration with GMA?
Actor Matteo Guidicelli allegedly proposed a project to GMA but it was turned down because of this reason.
Matteo has been with ABS-CBN for many years, along with his wife Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo. When the couple got married, their projects and showbiz engagements weren’t as frequent as before.
Amid the pandemic, the AshMatt tandem enjoyed their time with each other and with their loved ones. Once in a while, they would share on social media the out-of-town trips that they did and the activities they do together.
In a recent episode of Lolit Solis and Mr. Fu’s digital talk show Take It! Take It! Me Ganon?!, Matteo Guidicelli was one of the subjects of their blind items. It was alleged that the actor pitched a project to the Kapuso network.
“Nawindang diumano ang mga taga-GMA 7 sa laki ng budget na kasama sa ipinitch na programa ni Matteo Guidicelli. Kaya naman hindi na raw ito nakarating sa top management,” Pang-Masa entertainment columnist Salve Asis shared in her article.
It was said that the concept was good but the network could not afford the budget that he was asking for his project. With this, the columnist said, “Baka naman kasama sa nasabing package ang talent fee ng misis niyang si Sarah Geronimo kaya ganun? Hindi kaya?” As of this writing, the actor has not spoken yet about this allegation.
Meanwhile, Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo had a photoshoot for Tatler Philippines Magazine. The actor shared a vlog showcasing the behind-the-scenes of this project. The couple did the photoshoot in an undisclosed location south of Manila.
