LANY Announces Asia Tour in November 2022 Including Manila
LANY – LA-based indie-pop sensations LANY just announced their upcoming Asia tour that will take place in November 2022.
Perhaps it’s the Pinoys’ love for heart-wrenching music that makes synth-pop band LANY such a hit in the country. Whether you’re overcoming a breakup, going through tough times, or obsessed with a new crush, the band has got you covered.
LANY is one of this generation’s biggest bands. The band’s name is a nod to the two largest cities in America, Los Angeles, and New York. The band consists of Paul Jason Klein, Les Priest, and Jake Clifford Goss. Just last month, the band announced that Priest had parted ways with the band “to focus on life as a writer/producer in Nashville.”
LANY is particularly popular in the Philippines. The group is known for their hits “Thru These Tears,” “Pink Skies,” “Malibu Nights,” and “ILYSB.” In fact, they have performed in the Philippines several times.
They last performed in Manila in 2019 where they had 3 sold-out concerts at MOA Arena. During their concert, they said they are willing to “come back (to the PH) for the rest of our lives.”
Recently, LANY announced their 2022 Asia tour on social media on May 25. According to the quick montage shared by the band, they will be visiting cities like Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and of course Manila.

In a previous article, Pinay weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz received praise from the band after she clinched her first-ever Olympic gold medal for the country. Klein wrote, “Congrats to @hidilyndiaz and the Philippines (who have been so unbelievable to my band) on [your] first ever gold medal.”
