Recently, Hidilyn Diaz took to social media to open up about her journey leading to the 2022 SEA Games. In an IG post, she opened up about her struggles with anxiety at the start of the year due to her weight gain.

Hidilyn Diaz also revealed the reason why she continues to compete despite many telling her that she doesn’t have to compete anymore since she already won gold at the Olympics. She said that her win at the 2022 SEA Games is proof that she can still compete as a weightlifter. She also thanked her team headed by her husband-to-be Julius Naranjo.
