John Lapus will keep on tweeting until the pilot will apologize to VP Leni Robredo
Comedian-director John Lapus reacted to the statement of Cebu Pacific regarding the accusation of a pilot against Vice President Leni Robredo.
John, also known as Sweet, is one of the showbiz personalities who supported the presidential candidacy of the current Vice President. Just recently, an issue against VP Leni surfaced on social media.
Pilot Van Ranoa accused the Vice President of demanding a priority landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) when she arrived from the South last month. The pilot claimed that because of this, flights were diverted causing inconvenience to many people.
In the initial statement from Cebu Pacific, the airline company stated that it acknowledges the fact that employees have the right to express their opinions on certain matters. However, the company stressed that employees are sanctioned by certain rules as well.
The initial statement was deleted and the second one was directly from the office of Captain Sam Avila, the Vice President of Flight Operations of Cebu Pacific. The Captain, on behalf of the company, apologized to VP Leni Robredo.
However, netizens, especially supporters of the Vice President are saying that the pilot should issue a public apology, one of them was John Lapus.
In a recent Twitter post of the comedian-director, he retweeted the portion of the statement of Cebu Pacific saying sorry to VP Leni. Apparently, for John, the company’s apology is not enough as he said, “No! May mga naniwala. Everyday kayo mag sorry.”
Then, he stressed that the pilot should have his public apology as well, and he will continue to tweet about this every single day. “Pag public apology nyo yung pilot. Hindi pwedeng ganon na lang yon. Titweet ko ito everyday! Ako ito!” John Lapus said.
