Andrea Brillantes is not new to bashing
Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes stressed that she is not affected by bashing anymore despite that she became the topic of recent controversies.
Andrea, as many social media users know, has received a tremendous amount of bashing just recently because of how she expressed her views on politics. She is one of the avid celebrity supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo.
After the elections and her candidate did not win, Andrea expressed frustration that did not sit well with many netizens. Because of that, she received criticism from the online community.
In a recent vlog of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, Andrea Brillantes said that she can’t call herself as “manhid” but bashing does not bother her anymore. “Lalo na parang more than 10 years na ako sa industriya kaya sanay na sanay na po ako. Nasasaktan pa rin naman ako pero at this time, hindi talaga po nakakaapekto sa akin,” she said.
She also said that she chose not to open up more on Twitter for the sake of her peace of mind. The young actress said that she is happier if she is not thinking about anything.
Andrea also highlighted during the interview the happiness that she felt when the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons won in the recent University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) basketball competition.
His boyfriend, Ricci Rivero, is one of the star players of UP. “Masaya ako kahit hindi ako taga-UP. Parang ramdam na ramdam ko ‘yung pagka-panalo dahil almost four decades since nung last panalo nila,” Andrea Brillantes said adding that she is proud of her boyfriend because he said that he really wanted the championship.
