Lady Guard Helps Inmate to Escape from Jail Cell Due to Their Special Relationship
Alabama, USA – A lady jail guard has been caught on camera helping her inmate boyfriend to escape from his jail cell.
The 56-year-old jail guard identified as Vicky White who is also working as Corrections Assistant Director in Alabama, USA, and a 38-year-old murder suspect named Casey White has been described as “extremely dangerous”.
The security footage inside the detention center has caught Vicky and Casey escaping from the facility last April 29, 2022. The authorities monitoring the activity did not realize that White is helping Casey to escape.
White said told her fellow workers that Casey needs to undergo a mental health evaluation in court. The suspect has a handcuff while leaving the detention center to prove the guard’s claim.
The CCTV footage at the gasoline station in the area captured the two heading in a different direction using a patrol car. Eventually, the two leave the patrol car in the parking lot of a shopping center.
The authorities have also received a tip that the suspects have switched vehicles. The investigators also discovered that the two have a “special relationship” prompting the guard to help the suspect escape.
“We have had a warrant issued for Director Vicky White. The charges are permitting or facilitating escape in the first degree. Casey White, as you’ve heard me say over and over is an extremely dangerous person and we need to get him located and get him off the street,” Florence, Alabama Sheriff Rick Singleton.
US Marshals Service has offered $5,000-$10,000 reward to anyone who can give information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects.
