Kind-Hearted Cops Earns Praises For Fulfilling Inmate’s Wish to Celebrate Daughter’s Birthday
Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte – The kind-hearted cops fulfill an inmate’s wish to celebrate his daughter’s 5th birthday.
The Sta. Elena Municipal Police Station helped an inmate father to get his wish to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. The kind police officers gathered some amount of cash from their own pocket to make the event possible.
Pmaj Kim Lawrence Arenas said that the Person Under Police Custody (PUPC) wished to visit his daughter during its fifth birthday. Unfortunately, the management refused to grant the latter’s request.
The policemen have decided to donate some amount to prepare a surprise birthday party for the inmate’s daughter. The birthday celebration has been held inside Sta. Elena MPS station in Camarines Norte.
The cops prepared delicious foods such as spaghetti, pansit, fried chicken, baked macroni, lumpia and cake. They have also prepared a tarpaulin, balloon, decorations and huge gifts for the little girl.
“Napakasaya nu’ng reaksyon ng mga mag-anak, So usually kasi, ang personnel talaga naming sinu-surprise naming tuwing birthday nila. So this is the first time na nakapagbigay naman kami kahit paano sa anak ng person under custody,” Arenas said.
The police personnel sings Happy Birth to the kid and the inmate lead the “blowing the candle” of his daughter.
Bicol Police regional director Pol. Gen. Jonnel Estomo explained that the authorities is implementing stricter rules and regulations but they are doing their jobs with love and consideration.
According to Arenas, the inmate is a hardworking person inside the jail while paying for the consequences of his crimes in the past.
