Gab Valenciano continues showing support for the Leni-Kiko tandem
Showbiz personality Gab Valenciano recalled the first time he did the Leni-Kiko chant that immediately went viral.
Gab, since day one of the campaign, has fervently shown his support for Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan who is his uncle. In one of the provincial campaign rallies of Kakampinks, Gab started a chant that caught the attention of the online community.
Various reactions were expressed to the chant that they did. His fellow Kakampinks were easily hooked and they immediately got the “last song syndrome” as they repeatedly did the chant.
However, there were those who accused Gab Valenciano of imitating seasoned rapper Andrew E who is campaigning for the UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte.
Despite the negative reactions and the memes that were created from his viral performance, Gab continued doing the chant at various campaign events and his dad Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano has joined him.
In a recent Twitter post that Gab shared, he featured a photo that was posted on a Kakampink’s wall. It can be seen in the photo that he was tired and resting at the side of the stage. When the celebrity shared this, he shared that this was taken during the grand rally in Bohol.
“This was April 1, during the Bohol Grand Rally. Right after Ormoc, Misamis Oriental and Davao Del Sur so medyo pagod na,” Gab shared. With his presence in almost all campaign rallies of the Leni-Kiko tandem, his uncle even tagged him as the Mr. Renewable Energy as Gary V is Mr. Pure Energy.
In his post, Gab Valenciano also shared that in this rally in Bohol, the viral Leni-Kiko chant was born. “Also the first time I did the chant. It has been a life-changing journey for me. Truly honored to have been part of it,” he said.
