Darryl Yap shared what Sara Duterte said to him about this campaign strategy
Vincentiments’s director-writer Darryl Yap explained why the “For Leni” campaign is negative and shared what UniTeam vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte said about this.
One of the campaign strategies of the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo is having certain groups who are endorsing her candidacy. For example, “Doctors for Leni,” “Lawyers for Leni”, and practically any group, even ‘Gwapos for Leni.”
Direk Darryl tackled this matter in one of his recent Facebook posts. He said that he talked to Mayor Sara about this but she refused to have this kind of campaign strategy.
“Nakausap ko si INDAY SARA, sabi niya “Ako ang nagsabing wag mag ”for BBM” or ”for Sara” ayaw namin na “SILA AY PARA SA AMIN” gusto ko “WE ARE FOR THEM”. INDAY SARA for DOCTORS, INDAY SARA for FARMERS…ganon sana direk,” the director-writer shared.
Direk Darryl said that he is not claiming to be the best writer, advertiser, or campaign specialist but he wanted to explain the reason behind why he is stressing that the “For Leni” campaign is negative.
“Ang weird lang na galing ito sa grupong nagsasabing ”HUWAG MAGING PANATIKO”. itong mga nagfo “for leni” na ito— sila rin ang nagsasabi aalis sila sa bansa, di tutulong o ikahihiyang maging Pilipino pag natalo si Leni—well, totoo sila sa “for leni” nila— sila ay para kay Leni. ang mga doktor na ito, abogado, guro, atbp ay para kay Leni at mga MakaLENI lamang,” Darryl Yap said adding that supporters of VP Leni are consistent in being inconsistent.
With this, he said that this kind of strategy will be one of the reasons why the Vice President will not have her victory. Direk Darryl also stressed that he will not make himself a “panatiko”. He said that on May 9, he will not be “for BBM,” not “for Sara,” and not “for Jinggoy” because “I am FOR THE COUNTRY, I am FOR THE PEOPLE, I am FOR OUR FUTURE.”
