Julia Barretto is a well-known actress and endorser in the Philippines. She’s the daughter of veteran actors Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla. She’s currently dating Fil-Am actor Gerald Anderson.

The two paired for the romance movie “Between Maybes.” For a time, JuRald has become the center of controversy. This is after the actress’ name got involved in the split of the actor with Kapuso star Bea Alonzo.

Julia Barretto was accused as the third party but during the height of that issue, she and Gerald denied their alleged affair. Amid the bashing, Gerald’s mom Evangeline Opsima defended him and expressed that she disagreed with her son’s relationship with Alonzo back then.

Mommy Vangie also had a message to Barretto at that time as she pointed out their age difference. Anderson is eight years older than Barretto. And just months after that, the actor confirmed in an interview with Boy Abunda that he’s dating Julia. They are still being criticized but those negative comments do not affect them anymore.

Julia and Gerald are private when it comes to their relationship. However, there are times they would flex each other on social media. Just like last month, Julia posted a gorgeous photo of her on her IG account and her beau left a very sweet comment: “mine.” In response to this comment, Julia wrote back “yours.”

Gerald’s brother Ken Anderson recently shared a lovely video of his mom Evangeline Opsima and Julia Barretto on IG. It came with a caption, “JUJU AND MOTHERZILLA.”
