ARIEL LIM’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of senatorial bet Ariel Lim and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Senatorial Election.

On May 9, the 2022 Elections will be held and the Filipinos can practice their right to vote once again. Both local and national polls are set. According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), there are 10 candidates for president, 9 candidates for vice president, and 63 candidates for senator.

The senatorial race is a mixture of individuals from different fields. There are incumbent government officials, former public officials, and private individuals from other fields. There are labor advocates – one of them is senatorial bet Ariel Lim.

Ariel Lim who is also known as “Mr. Transport” is a national convener of the National Public Transport Coalition which pushed for protection and relief for public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers amid the COVID-19 crisis. He was a consultant of the Office of Senator Grace Poe for the Senate Public Services Committee and the Transport Cooperatives Senate from July 1995 to January 1997.

Furthermore, Lim served as a political assistant of the House of Representatives from January 1997 to June 1998, as Presidential Assistant on Public Transportation of the Malacañang Palace from January 2002 to July 2010, and consultant for public transportation of the League of Cities of the Philippines from July 2010 to July 2013.

  • supports reformation of all transportation-related agencies
  • supports rescheduling or refinancing of PUV drivers’ financial lease/loan on their occupational vehicles at no added interest or penalty
