JOHN CASTRICIONES’ PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of former agrarian secretary John Castriciones and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Senatorial Election.
The May 2022 Elections are set to take place less than two (2) weeks from now. Both local and national elections will be held. Under the national elections, there will be a poll for senators. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) previously said that 64 candidates are vying for a seat in the Senate until one (1) candidate recently withdrew his bid. Some of the candidates for senator are coming from other fields like senatorial bet Roy Cabonegro.
Personal Background:
John Rualo Castriciones was born on January 8, 1962 in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. He is popularly known as “Bro John”. He had his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Trinity University of Asia or formerly known as Trinity College. He is a graduate of Law at San Beda College of Law and Arellano University Law School Philippine Military Academy belonging to Maharlika Class in 1984. He had his master’s degree in Comparative Government and International Law at Notre Dame University.
Accomplishments:
John Castriciones served as the secretary of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) until 2021 and he led the distribution of land titles to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs). Under his leadership, DAR achieved zero backlog of pending cases in the Department’s legal services.
