Isko Moreno Reveals Decision on Comelec’s Invitation for Panel Interview

Will Mayor Isko Moreno Attend the Comelec Presidential Panel Interview?

ISKO MORENO – The Manila Mayor spoke on the invitation of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for a presidential panel interview.

The May 2022 Elections are set to take place nine (9) days from now. Both local and national elections will be held and there are 10 candidates vying for the presidency. One of the presidential candidates is Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.

Mayor Isko is one of the candidates who have graced the invitations of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for a debate. Two (2) debate events were previously held and the poll body has decided to have a presidential panel interview instead of a third debate session.

The Manila Mayor has always been vocal about the importance of presidential candidates attending debate events and interviews. Recently, he spoke his side on the invitation of Comelec for a presidential panel interview.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Mayor Isko Moreno said that he will attend the Comelec presidential panel interview if his schedule will allow it. He reiterated his stand on the importance of attending such events.

The Manila Mayor raised that the candidates are not obliged to attend such events but stressed that the people are their “HR” and they are applying for work. He also called on those Filipinos who are allegedly tired of the fight between the red and the yellows to vote for him instead as he will give them peace of mind.

Mayor Isko is running under Aksyon Demokratiko. He placed 3rd in the result of the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia but he stressed that he is not bothered by it as the Filipinos will be the voters in the upcoming election and not the survey.

The Manila Mayor also remained unfazed despite the switch of support of some of her supporters to another presidential candidate.
