Pinoy OFW Working as Fruitpicker in Canada Earns P100k Per Month
A Pinoy fruitpicker in Canada named Albert Frederich Logo shared that he is earning about P100, 000 per month.
Nowadays, many Filipino people prefer to leave the country and work abroad due to better job opportunities and bigger salaries. A larger salary offer abroad attracts our countrymen to work abroad to give their families a better future.
Recently, the Pinoy OFW Albert Frederich Logo working as a fruit picker in Canada for almost a year has shared his livelihood abroad. He has been working as an OFW for five years and started his journey as a worker in Taiwan.
Logo decided to work in Canada after his friend informed him regarding the better job opportunities and good salary. Eventually, the guy realized that he made the right choice. “At alam niyo, mukhang hindi ako nagkamali,” Logo said.
The Pinoy migrant worker is living in a bunkhouse containing two rooms wherein each room can accommodate six people. He also made a mini-tour inside his workplace including the farm.
Albert has also shared some tips on how to pick strawberries and cucumbers properly. He shared that strawberries should be picked with leaves at the top. Workers will separate the strawberries depending on their quality.
Cucumbers can be picked in any manner but will be separated based on their sizes. The fresh fruit products will be immediately packed and prepared for delivery.
The hardworking guy is earning $15 US dollars per hour with $1 incentive. They were earning at least P25, 000 per week.
