Willie Revillame shared his conversation with Bongbong Marcos
Wowowin host Willie Revillame called UniTeam’s presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos “Mr. President” but he clarified something about this.
Willie has openly endorsed the vice-presidential candidacy of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, the running mate of BBM. The veteran host is a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte. He was even convinced by the Chief Executive to run for Senator but he refused this offer.
In a recent episode of his show online, based on the article in PEP, Willie shared a video showing the conversation he had with the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos.
The conversation happened when Mayor Sara called Willie Revillame and they had a video call. At that time, the veteran host also talked to Bongbong Marcos at that time. “Mr. President, mahal na pangulo, nagkita po kami ni Manong Chavit [Singson], e, mag-uusap daw tayo,” Kuya Wil said.
Then, the Wowowin host shared to the presidential candidate that he and seasoned songwriter Vehnee Saturno made a song for his campaign. “Ang kulang ninyo sa kampanya, puso. Ang title nun, ‘Puso Para sa Bayan.’ Kay Ma’am Sara, ‘Sara Ikaw Na Nga,’ yung kanta ko, Now, I have a song, ang title po ‘Puso Para sa Bayan,’ mahal na pangulo. Ingat po kayo Sir, Mr. President, Vice President,” the veteran host said.
After that, Kuya Wil said to his viewers that there was no commitment yet. ”’Yan naman ho, e, walang commitment pa,” he said adding that he was surprised that the presidential daughter called him. Willie Revillame said that he just texted Mayor Sara that he had a conversation with Chavit Singson.
“Wala naman pong commitment ‘yan. Gusto lang daw nila akong makausap at, yun nga, sabi ko, ‘Sige ho. Mag-uusap ho kami.’ Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pag-uusapan naming.” Kuya Wil reiterated and explained that he called Bongbong Marcos Mr. President because this is what many people are calling him.
