CARL BALITA’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of educator Carl Balita and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Senatorial Election.

According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), there are 64 candidates running for senator in the upcoming May 2022 Elections. One of them is Carl Balita who is popular in the field of education.

Personal Background:

Carl Espino Balita was born on April 10, 1970 in Quezon City. He took a nursing course at the University of Santo Tomas and his doctorate degree in Humanities at Lorma Colleges. He is a graduate of the Stanford University-National University of Singapore with a course in the Executive Program in International Management. He had his Master of Arts in Nursing at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He is married to Dr. Lyne Balita, a pediatrician, with whom he has four (4) children.

Accomplishments:

Carl Balita is the founder of the top-rated review and education center Dr. Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC) which continues to help graduates prepare for the licensure examinations for 14 years now. He was also the host of Radyo Negosyo from 2001 to 2021 which he only left for his senatorial race. He is also the founder of the Pedagogy Learning Center

Carl Balita’s Platforms:

  • assess the need for a National Chief Nurse appointment in the Department of Health (DOH)
  • assess the need for a government subsidy for private hospitals
  • fix the execution and budget of the Universal Healthcare Law
  • investments in education through scholarship offers that cover health science courses
  • pass the “Omnibus Positive Practice Environment”
  • establish Super Health Center and Specialty Hospital
  • push for nurse and midwife hiring for every barangay
  • raise lending offers to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)
  • boost support for rural development
  • establish a Department of Overseas Filipino to assess the needs of the OFWs as they work abroad
  • establish a Crisis Management Commission for calamity preparations

  • push for teaching of new methods for GMRC classes
  • address the problem of malnutrition by giving free food to students from kindergarten to grade 3 sourced from the local agricultural producers
