Video Footage of Senior Citizen Forgiving the Car Driver Who Struck Him Using Baseball Bat During Road Rage Elicits Reactions Online
The poor senior citizen forgives the raging car driver who mercilessly struck him using a baseball bat during a road rage incident.
Previously, the video footage of two motorists involved in a road rage incident along Marcos Alvarez Avenue at Talon V, Las Piñas City spread like a wildfire online. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the raging car driver is having an exchange of heated arguments with an elderly motorcycle rider. The driver tried to hit the old man using a baseball bat but he holds back.
After a few moments, the senior citizen identified as Tatay Julian tried to remove the vehicle’s plate number out of his anger, which triggered the fury of the car driver. The violent guy smashed the old man with a baseball bat and several residents intervened to stop him.
The suspect identified as Gerson Dave Gonzales quickly runs away after the incident.
Recently, Gonzales issued a public apology and shared a video footage of himself being reconciled with Tatay Julian. The two hugged each other while trying to settle the issue.
Tatay Julian forgives Gonzales and explained that he was just a human who needs to forgive his fellow countrymen.
Gonzales also wrote on his post that he regrets his actions and will shoulder the medication of the senior citizen.
