DOC WILLIE ONG PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of Doc Willie Ong and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Elections.

Willie Tan Ong is a cardiologist, author, media personality, and politician. He gained popularity through social media where he gives medical and healthcare-related advice.

The 58-year-old doctor has massive followers on Facebook and Youtube. Doc Willie is a candidate for vice president in the May 2022 polls as the running mate of Manila mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno. He is advocating for health system reform, including improved support for health infrastructure.

Personal Background:

Willie Ong was born in Manila on October 24, 1963, in Tondo, Manila. His father’s name is Yong Ong and his mother’s name is Juanita Tan Ong. He is married to Anna Liza Ramoso Ong, who is also a physician. They have 2 daughters.

Doc Willie completes his education at De La Salle College Medicine, Manila Doctors Hospital, and The University of Philippines.

Doc Willie was a consultant with the Department of Health from 2010 to 2014. He is the author of the best-selling medical book, the ‘Medicine Blue Book.’ He also created the first medical museum in the country, the Co Tec Tai Medical Museum in Pasay City.
