A PWD athlete goes viral and earned praises from the online community because of his impressive basketball skills.

A Facebook user named “Deann Flores Otic” has shared the inspiring video footage of a disabled guy with impressive skills and talent at basketball. The video immediately goes viral and garnered various reactions online.

In the video, it can be seen that a PWD athlete with one leg showed impressive shooting skills during a basketball game. The disabled guy repeatedly shoots the ball to the basket without hesitation and successfully makes scores.

The PWD guy’s teammates also relied on him when it comes to shooting. The athlete did not fail to make points for his teammates. Otic took the video footage during a tournament in Masbate City.

“Lagi po akong nasa court nanonood at nagbabantay pero siya palang po yung nakita ko na player na may kapansanan tapos nakakahanga lang talaga na magaling siya kaya ko kinuhanan ng video,” Otic said.

The 22-year-old PWD player has been identified as Judy Abinuman. He was born with no right leg but his condition did not stop him to play basketball. He started playing when he was 10-year-old.

Abinuman is happy that he never experienced discrimination from basketball. Instead, he received praise and admiration from fans because of his determination.

“Sa mga tulad ko na may disability na gustong sumuko na sa buhay, wag po mawalan ng pag-asa. Tuparin lang ang mga pangarap. Wag na wag po mahiya na gawin yung gusto ninyo,” Abinuman said.
