Xian Lim shared his thoughts about his “first” Kapuso series
Actor-host Xian Lim admitted that he felt pressured because of his upcoming Kapuso series False Positive with actress-singer Glaiza de Castro.
This was not the supposed first teleserye of Xian in the Kapuso network. He already started shooting the Love.Die.Repeat series with Jennylyn Mercado but this did not push through as the actress got pregnant.
Then, Xian was given another project. It is still a series but his character is something that is unique. In False Positive, Xian Lim plays the role of a man who got pregnant.
The actor said that he is so thankful to GMA for giving this opportunity to him and he is doing his best in order to pay back the trust that the network has given to him, based on the article in PEP.
“I don’t want to let them down and I remember, gumigising talaga ako nang maaga para lang magtanong. I don’t want to cause any delays na okay, baka mali yung gawin ko. Baka hindi magustuhan ni Direk [Irene Villamor],” Xian shared.
He also said that he felt pressured. “There is that pressure definitely, pero tinanggap kong mahirap at gagawin ko ang best ko hanggang sa ma-good take ni Direk,” the actor said.
The actor-host encouraged the public to watch his new series on the Kapuso network because this will give good messages but not in a serious way as they will provide laughter through their feel-good series.
Meanwhile, Xian Lim assured KimXi fans, his tandem with his girlfriend Kim Chiu, that they will still have projects together even though they are now in different networks. “Marami kaming projects na gagawin individually and also together, parang hindi naman namin kino-close yung doors,” he said.
