Prenup agreement is not a thing for Glaiza de Castro and her husband
Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro shared the reason why she and her Irish businessman husband David Rainey decided not the have a prenuptial agreement.
Prenup agreement is quite common in celebrity couples and couples who have established wealth before they got married. It is a way for some to take care of their wealth once separation comes along the way.
However, prenup agreement is not a thing for Glaiza and David. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the actress shared that she and her husband agreed not to have a prenup agreement.
“Parang isa iyon sa mga bagay na… parang kung anuman yung meron ako, what I have is yours, and then what he has is mine. So, parang isa iyon sa mga napag-usapan namin na, maybe we don’t need to do that kasi madali lang naman iyon,” Glaiza de Castro explained.
She jokingly said that whatever happens then she will just get it. Seriously speaking, the actress said that she does not want to deal with legal matters. “I don’t know, it’s just something na we didn’t do,” she added.
Meanwhile, Glaiza shared that during the pandemic, her husband did a lot of adjustment for him. The couple are currently staying in the Philippines and since David is a foreigner, he had to make some adjustments in staying here.
“Nakikita ko talaga iyon from him, coming to the Philippines without any connections. Totally different world, totally different culture,” the Kapuso star shared.
Glaiza de Castro commended that patience that her husband has as she has witnessed this trait in him. During the time when the actress had to be in a lock-in taping, David is taking care of Glaiza’s mother.
“Mas na-appreciate niya si David kasi he’s very thoughtful. ‘Tapos he’s very patient, kahit na pabagu-bago yung schedule ko,” the actress shared.
Glaiza de Castro also said that her husband is very supportive of her. She also highlighted that David knows how to bond with her friends and she really appreciates this.
