Ogie Diaz was seen at a UniTeam rally
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, a known Kakampink, joined a campaign rally under UniTeam because of this.
Ogie is among the celebrities who have been joining the campaign rallies of Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan. He is also active in defending his candidates and firing back at bashers.
However, Ogie was spotted at a UniTeam rally just recently and it is because of his close friend actress Aiko Melendez who is running for councilor in Quezon City.
Previously, Aiko shared a post saying that despite that she and Ogie support different presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2022 elections, their friendship will never be affected.
Aiko is supporting the UniTeam of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. In a recent Instagram post of the actress-politician, she shared several photos that were taken during a campaign rally.
One of the photos showed that Ogie Diaz was also present during the event. In the caption of her post, Aiko Melendez thanked her showbiz friends who joined the rally in Brgy. San Bartolome.
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla, who is campaigning for her husband senatorial candidate Robin Padilla, graced the event as well as actor Wendell Ramos.
“Maligaya ang mga taga san bartolome na makita si ms @marieltpadilla upang ikampanya ang aming numero unong Senador @robinhoodpadilla #49 po sa balota. Nakisaya din sa amin ang aking kumpare @wendellramosofficial at mader @ogie_diaz na kahit magkaiba ang aming sinusuportahan andun pa dn siya upang magpakita ng pagmamahal para sa akin,” Aiko said.
She also thanked the residents of San Bartolome for giving them a warm welcome. In the comment section of Aiko’s post, many netizens showed support for her political endeavor.
