Philippine sports personality Boyet Sison passes away.
BOYET SISON – The Philippine sports and the whole country mourn over the death of Boyet Sison who passed away on Black Saturday.
Voice of Universal Reality Combat Championship Boyet Javelona Sison died on April 16, Black Saturday. On Facebook, the URCC confirmed the sad news and asked everyone to include the deceased and his family in their prayers. The statement said, “You will always be in our hearts and be beautifully remembered.”
He was considered one of the most colorful personalities in the PH sports industry. Last April 14, morning, he had his surgery. He was born on April 25, 1963, and passed away at the age of 58. Sison was born to legendary public relations guru Ady Sison and Rebecca Javelona Sison in Manila.
Sison started as a disc jockey for numerous clubs in the metropolis but his true calling pushed him to host. During the late 90s, he appeared in “Saturday Night Live” – a program on DWRT 99.5 – and that is where he was discovered.
He also became the Philippine Basketball Association’s coliseum announcer from October 2005-January 2012. He was also a ring announcer of the URCC and an anchor for the National Collegiate Athletic Association of the Philippines.
From 2007 to 2020, he hosted the sports-talk radio show “Fast Break” which was aired on DZMM Teleradyo. This specific radio program is a program he also produced. And in 2021, he became a segment host on TV Patrol.
