KC Concepcion Replaces Toni Gonzaga In Lead Role Of Romantic Comedy Film “Asian Persuasion”
KC CONCEPCION – Singer-actress KC Concepcion has replaced actress-host Toni Gonzaga in the lead role of the romantic comedy New York film “Asian Persuasion.”
Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion better known as KC Concepcion, is a Pinay actress, singer, and entrepreneur. She’s the daughter of former couple Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.
The beautiful actress earlier dropped hints on IG about starring in a movie. On her 37th birthday a week ago, KC uploaded a photo of herself being glammed up and said “being back on set for my birthday, doing what I’ve always loved, is a celebration in itself.”
KC Concepcion also said that “coming back to acting + living in New York for work is another dream come true. Her mom Sharon also penned a heartfelt birthday message for her on her IG page.
Shawie assured her eldest daughter that she will always be there for her. The veteran actress also shared her birthday wish for KC.

In a post on her IG account last April 13, KC Concepcion announced that she’s part of a new US film titled “Asian Persuasion.” She posted a screenshot of the Variety report.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Onto day 3 of filming @asianpersuasionfilm! Thank you for joining us on this new journey. Grateful to be part of this Asian-American project, with our amazing cast & crew.”
According to Variety, KC Concepcion replaced Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga after the host left the production due to “schedule conflicts.” The controversial host was announced to be part of the film in July last year.
KC will join other Asian celebs in the cast such as Fil-Am actor Dante Basco. Other cast members include Geneva Carr, Celia Au, Paolo Montalban, Kevin Kreider, Jax Bacani, and Scarlett Sher.
Reports also said that other Pinoy stars such as Rachel Alejandro, Tony Labrusca, Yam Concepcion, Rex Navarette, and Apl.de.Ap among others will also be featured in “Asian Persuasion.” It is set to be released in 2023.
