Room in SC Building Catches Fire
SC – The Supreme Court spoke on the release of the 2022 Bar Exam results following a fire incident hitting one of the rooms in the building.
Currently, a lot of people await the release of the 2021-2022 Bar Examination conducted among aspiring lawyers. Truth be told that it is known to the country that the Bar Exam is one of the hardest board examinations administered. It is even conducted in a series and many takers went through months of strict discipline for the review.
While most takers are quite anxious about the results of the Bar Exam, their family and friends are excited to finally know it and celebrate with them. For the takers, the waiting is a different thing that brings them goosebumps most especially as the release date of the results draws near.
For the 2021-2022 Bar Exam results, it is scheduled to be released today, Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Ahead of the release of the results, a room in the Supreme Court (SC) building caught fire.
Meanwhile, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the SC assured that the preparations for the release of the 2021-2022 Bar Exam results are in full swing and the release will proceed despite the fire incident. It was at around 6:00 a.m. when a judicial staff heard what seemed to be an explosion. At 06:05, the first alarm was raised.
Based on the report, Supreme Court magistrate Marvic Leonen assured that they have secured the data files and their chambers. Furthermore, the magistrate stressed that the OBC is fully operational and they have preparations for every contingency.
The fire hit the Judiciary Data Center Room on the ground floor of the building. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that the fire is contained and controlled.
