Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Jinkee Pacquiao Visit Happyland, Tondo
MANNY PACQUIAO – The PROMDI standard-bearer and his wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, turned emotional during their campaign in Happyland, Tondo.
Both the local and the national election campaign period are ongoing in the Philippines now. It is less than a month now before the 2022 Elections will take place. On May 9, the Filipinos will be electing the next president of the Republic of the Philippines.
Boxer-turned-Senator Manny Pacquiao is one of the 10 candidates running for president in the May 2022 Elections. He is the standard-bearer of PROMDI and is currently on the move to reach as many people as he can most especially the poor to campaign and let his platforms be heard.
The PROMDI standard-bearer is vocal about his desire to end corruption in the Philippines, imprison the corrupt officials, and provide housing for the poor.
Sen. Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, is full support for him on his presidential bid. The couple have five (5) children – all of which are quite distant from the lenses of the camera despite the prominence of their father.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, one of the areas recently-visited by Sen. Manny Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee, is Happyland in Tondo. The couple turned emotional during the visit after they were warmly welcomed by a lot of people.
According to the report, the residents are crowded inside the campaign venue and they really want to see and shake hands with the Senator. Some of them climbed rooftops to be able to witness the Senator’s speech about his plans and visions if he wins president.
During her speech, Jinkee was not able to hold her tears. According to her, she can really see how joyful the people in Happyland are despite their situation. For his part, the Senator thanked the residents for the warm welcome to them. He stressed that he really knows now plight of the poor because he also came from poverty.
Sen. Pacquiao stressed that if he wins president in the upcoming election, he will allot P400 billion for the housing projects for the poor. He vowed that he will not choose when it comes to who to help as he really wants to help and fight for the poor people.
“Lagi kong naaalala ‘yung buhay ko noon araw… kaya sa abot ng aking makakaya itong buhay ko ngayon ilalaan ko para sa pagserbisyo sa pagtulong sa tao,” he said.
