Awra Briguela says sorry to Coco Martin because of this reason.

COCO MARTIN – Awra Briguela reveals what Coco Martin wants him to be but says sorry because he wasn’t able to do it.

Mak-Mak is the character that many people loved in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano portrayed by Awra Briguela, who at that time, was a rising star after his viral video. The one who handled him is Coco Martin, the lead star of the show and it was through the actor’s teaching that he learned to act. His inclusion in the top-rating action series is his biggest break.

Awra revealed that Coco became not just his “kuya” and co-actor but also a mentor on top of it all. He never attended a single acting workshop but Coco has always been beside him. The famous comedian now revealed that what actually Coco wanted him to be is to rise like Roderick Paulate. He wanted him to be like the veteran actor and comedian – a versatile artist.

“Yung kayang maglalaki, magbakla ganon. Versatile actor ang gusto niya sa akin. Pero hindi yun yung gusto ng puso ko. Gusto kong maging performer na artist, na kaya kong um-acting, kaya kong mag-perform,” he expressed.

And this is one thing he would like to say sorry to his mentor – he wasn’t able to do what he wants for him because he desires to do something else.

He added based on a report from PEP, “Kasi ang gusto niya sa akin, maging versatile actor lang ako, and gusto kong maging performer.”

Awra also revealed that Coco was among those who saw the potential in him because after seeing him for the first time, he called the next day for taping. To recall, Awra stayed in the series from 2016 until 2019. And with everything, he has nothing but gratitude to the actor who gave him the opportunity and for being among the first people who believed in his talent.
