Willie Revillame shared health update
Wowowin host Willie Revillame asked for prayers because of the possible result of his recent medical examination.
Willie is still as energetic as before when it comes to hosting despite his age. His avid viewers are fond of watching him hosting his well-loved game show, as well as his song performances.
However, the veteran host has a bit of worry just recently. Based on the article in Balita, during a recent episode of his game show, he shared that he had an executive checkup. The last one he did was in 2019. Due to the pandemic, he wasn’t able to have medical examinations for two years.
“Ngayong Lunes (March 28) ko malalaman kung positive ako sa cancer or not. Medyo nagulat ako. Two years ako hindi nagpa executive checkup because of the pandemic. Noong 2019, may mga nakita ng polyps pero benign naman po. Pero itong ngayon, medyo kinakabahan ako,” Willie Revillame said.
He shared that his doctor has seen that he has polyps in his colon and the other one is in his stomach. The veteran host said that if ever he is not in the studio on Monday, that means he is already confined in hospital but he said that he will still do a live show wherever he is.
He also asked for his fans’ prayers for his health condition. “Basta magla-live ako kung nasaan man ako sa lunes, kung nasa hospital man ako. Gusto ko malaman ninyo yung tutoo so bakit naman ako magsisinungaling? Lahat ng sinabi ko sa inyo totoo. Anyway, sana ipagdasal ninyo ako na sana hindi cancerous yung nakita sa aking polyps,” Willie Revillame said.
This statement from the 61-year-old host garnered love and support from his fans. Many people have already said that they are praying for him.
