Miley Cyrus Forced To Cancel Concert After Plane Was Struck By Lightning
MILEY CYRUS – US pop star Miley Cyrus was forced to cancel her concert in Paraguay after her plane was struck by lightning.
Miley Cyrus is one of the most diverse pop stars in the music industry. She emerged as a teen idol while portraying the title character of the hit tv series “Hannah Montana.” Her father is country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and her mom is Leticia.
The 29-year-old celebrity has 46 million followers on Twitter and has hits like “Wrecking Ball,” “The Climb,” and “7 Things.” Miley was scheduled to play at the Asunciónico music festival in Paraguay’s capital city on March 23.
Miley Cyrus was forced to cancel her concert in Paraguay after her plane was hit by lightning. She said they were forced to make an emergency landing.
“To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting,” Miley wrote on IG.
“My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay.”
“I LOVE YOU,” she concluded the message.

In her IG post, Miley Cyrus also shared a short video in which a flash of lightning could be seen through the plane’s window. She also uploaded a pic that appeared to show the damage to the aircraft’s exterior.
The Asunciónico music festival, meanwhile, had been canceled due to severe weather. It is unclear if Miley Cyrus’ concert will be rescheduled.
