Manny Pacquiao Says He Would Vote For Ping Lacson If He Is Not Running For President
MANNY PACQUIAO – Senator Manny Pacquiao said he would vote for Panfilo “Ping” Lacson if he is not running for president.
Manny Pacquiao is considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He also found success as a politician. Pacman was a congressman before getting elected as a senator.
He’s the very first among presidential aspirants to file his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for this year’s election. He is running under the Promdi party.
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson is also vying for the presidency in the May national elections. He is the standard bearer of Partido Reporma. Based on Pulse Asia’s latest survey, Manny ranked 4th with 8% while Ping ranked 5th with 2%.
On Thursday, March 17, the eight-division world boxing champion was interviewed by DJ Chacha and Ted Failon on ‘Ted Failon at DJ Chacha sa Radyo5.’ He was asked whom he will vote for if he did not seek the presidency.
“Senator Manny, kung hindi ka tumatakbo sa pagkapangulo, sino ang iboboto mo among the presidential candidates?”

Manny Pacquiao said he will cast his vote for Ping Lacson in the 2022 election if he’s not in the presidential race. “Sa akin po ngayon, siguro hindi pa po ako talaga nakapag-iisip ng kung sino iboboto. Isa po siguro malapit sa puso ko ay sa akin lang si Ping Lacson,” he answered.
Meanwhile, on his IG account, Ping thanked Manny and wished both of them good luck. He wrote, “Sa seatmate ko sa Senado na malapit din sa aking puso, maraming salamat at good luck sa ating dalawa!”
