The Elephone U5 was announced on August 8, 2020. The smartphone is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W. It is available in two colors: Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the devices is 157 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 180 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.4 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The smartphone runs on the Android 10 operating system. It is powered by Mediatek MT6771V/C Helio P60 (12 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processing unit (GPU). It is packed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 256GB.
Main Camera:
The Elephone U5 is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, geotagging, panorama, HDR, touch focus, and face detection.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the smartphone features a 24-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It also features face beautification, faceID, and HDR.
Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and FM radio. Its sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, and proximity.
