Cops Arrest Tricycle Driver Processing Police Clearance For Having Pending Warrant of Arrest
ILOCOS SUR – A tricycle driver who was processing his police clearance has been arrested over pending warrant of arrest.
The tricycle driver identified as Jabriel Jr. has been arrested by the police authorities while processing his police clearance. He was arrested over frustrated murder charges. He was supposed to use the police clearance for his new job.
Sta. Cruz Police station chief Police Captain Roger Baling-oay discovered that the suspect has a “Hit” during the process. The guy faces complains after alleged involvement in a crime at Camarines Norte way back in 2016.
“Noong na-hit yung pangalan niya, vinerify namin kasi may lumabas na warrant. Ngayon, venerify na muna kung yung warrant ba ay active pa ba o hindi na,” Baling-oay said.
Baling-oay said that the suspect doesn’t have an idea regarding the case after mauling another man in Camarines Norte. The cops found out that the warrant was still active.
“Ang alam niya wala siyang kaso kasi ang sabi niya allegedly during that time na nangyari ito, yung kuya na kasali dito sa warrant, actually is binugbog yung isang tao parang nag-away sila. Ngayon yung isang tao nahulog,” the police chief added.
The trike driver explained that he just tried to stop his brother and the victim from fighting until an unexpected incident happened. He did not expect that the victim will file a case against him.
