Dispute on Betting on Mobile Legends Resulted to Shooting vs 2 Gamers in Cotabato City
Two (2) gamers suffered gunshot wounds after being shot in Cotabato city allegedly due to the betting dispute on the online game Mobile Legends.
Two individuals were hurt after a firefight ended a Mobile Legends game in Cotabato City recently. Hubert Concepcion and Fitzgerald Patagan, according to a 93.7 Star FM report, were the two victims.

Concepcion and Patagan were reportedly involved in a P15,000 betting ML game that resulted in a fight when one of their colleagues allegedly cheated on them. And then, while playing ML, two guys on a motorcycle appeared and shot them both with a.45 caliber handgun.
The police arrived quickly, but an exchange of gunfire occurred during the pursuit of the criminals. According to the story, a police officer was also hit by a gunshot and was wounded.
When militants equipped with assault weapons opened fire on police officers responding to a gunshot incident in Barangay Rosary Heights 9, Maj. Elexon Bona, commander of city police station 2, was slightly hurt. According to reports, the gunfight was provoked by the game’s non-payment bet.
Residents were terrified after a succession of gunshots. At least 20 people were detained for interrogation before being released. Eleven guys have been detained on suspicion of being accomplices to the shooters of the two victims. Everyone who was hurt in the event was brought to the hospital.
