Sugar, milk, coffee (3 in 1), and vegetables such as eggplant, cabbage, spinach, okra, pechay, ampalaya, udong, upo, sayote, and many others. Fruits such as bananas, mangoes, and papayas are also included.

Pacquiao accepted the task to find out what is happening in the markets today and how the prices of fundamental consumer goods are faring. According to the senator’s challenge, buying basic basics in a home, like food, costs about P5K each day.

Some netizens, on the other hand, expressed their displeasure, arguing that P5,000 is plenty for their family. Some people believe that the true challenge should be limited to simply P500. A netizen said that she just spends P2,000, which is plenty for four days’ worth of necessities.

Another added, “If you have P5,000, you can truly buy a lot, but an ordinary Filipino can seldom achieve that amount.” After the purchase, he spent P4,998, thus he still has P2 remaining or saved, according to the Manny Pacquiao Team’s list.
