For Sunshine, one thing that made the soap opera interesting to many people was the perception that it was a reflection of what is happening in her life back then. The series lasted for 15 months, proof that it was loved by the Kapuso viewers.

Back then, Sunshine Dizon was encountering a problem in her marriage. In the soap, her character was married to a pilot and her estranged husband Timothy Tan is also a pilot. However, the actress said that this was just a mere coincidence.

Despite the coincidence, the actress said that it did not bother her at all. At that time, she shared that she was in survival mode and that she was thankful that work kept on coming as she became so busy.

It didn’t bother me because I was just happy that I was working. Kumbaga, nawala ‘yung focus ko sa kung anuman ‘yung nangyayari sa akin,” she shared. On the other hand, the actress admitted that some of the confrontation scenes became an outlet for her to release her resentment.

However, for her mental health, Sunshine Dizon said that she is not using her personal pain over and over again in pulling out certain emotions. For her, it is not healthy for her mental health to do that.
