The Lava R5 Play was officially announced in October 2019. The device is available in three colors: Black, Gold, and Blue. It is powered by a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Body & Display:
R5 Play comes with a screen size of 5.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio. It measures 156.6 x 75.2 x 8.4 mm and weighs 160 grams.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by a Mediatek MT6762 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is IMG GE8320. It runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system.
The device is packed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has a standard memory slot (such as an SD or micro-SD card slot) that enables users to extend the built-in internal storage. It can be expanded up to 256GB.
Main Camera:
Lava R5 Play sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensor. It features panorama, HDR, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel camera.
Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, and GPS with A-GPS. Its sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
